I just upgraded to Gnome 2.30, and my 11-x11-synaptics.fdi file is no longer respected. I have the mouse key in the settings_daemon section deactivated, but I don't know what's going on. My keyboard settings in the policy folder is still working properly, but I don't know what to do about this synaptics issue. Mostly it just killed my ability to do two finger scrolling, and gpointingdevicesettings nor gsynaptics will allow me to do that. I tried changing the scrolling method key to 2 in gconf-editor, and now I can't scroll at all. Any help that can be offered would be greatly appreciated. If you need any info, let me know, and I'll provide.
EDIT: gpointingdevicesettings will allow me to alter my settings while it's running, but it doesn't allow two finger scrolling.
