First Wallpaper of a Newbie

Hi everyone, I'm new in Arch world, I've been using it since two or three weeks ago and It's just amazing,I love it therefore I decided to create a new, minimalistic wallpaper for my ArchBox (arch+openbox).
This is quite my first work with Gimp so please be gentle anyway critics or suggestions are welcome.
I hope you like it and ask me for other sizes!:D

EDIT: I've uploaded the wallpaper on arch-stuff.org  so use this link

A world without what makes us, us. One without you or me.
A world with no differences, this is the world I see.

Re: First Wallpaper of a Newbie

Wallpaper looks good, just one suggestion - try not to put spaces or capital letters in filenames, as that makes working with the file from the command line a little annoying.

Re: First Wallpaper of a Newbie

Not bad at all! Tiny criticism: I would use a format other than JPEG for this (such as PNG). JPEG is really for photographs and doesn't do well with images like yours. You might  notice some visual artifacts (for example, in the small blue arch on the right).

Re: First Wallpaper of a Newbie

Hi!! Thanks for criticisms and compliments, their number is absolutely unexpected. I'm glad that you like my work.
I've changed the name removing spaces and capital letters and the format that is now PNG.
Soon I'll make also the 2560x1600 (for 16:10 screens including 1280x800) and the 2560x1440 (for 16:9 screens including 1280x720) one.
Since you appreciate my work maybe I'll try to post it on box-look.

As I've said this is my first work with gimp and as I've just discovered if I resize the 2560x1600 in 1280x800 the colour seems to be solid tongue
I'll have to make every size singularly.
Not bad!

Re: First Wallpaper of a Newbie

New sizes coming soon.
Simple question: do you prefer the plan logo like the one I've use or the glossy one like this??

Re: First Wallpaper of a Newbie

Well done mate. It really deserves to be called default.png and used as a default Archlinux background.
