Thunderbird 3.1 starting blank window

I'm surprised I didn't see this elsewhere on the forum.

When I start Thunderbird, I see only a very small, blank window...

When I expand the window, I see a slightly larger, blank window...

Is anyone else having this issue since upgrading to 3.1?

I'm not having that issue, and I just updated. If you start thunderbird from a terminal, does it spit out any messages?

@jalu - have you tried making a new Thunderbird profile (or deleting your current one)?

Thanks for the help, Lux Perpetua and anonymous_user.

At the time, terminal was not spitting out any useful messages and doing thunderbird --ProfileManager brought up the same blank window.

For whatever reason, Thunderbird worked normally when I rebooted. Very strange.
