[alsa + pulse] Sound from wrong output

Sorry for bad English.
Problem came with pulseaudio upgrade. There are no sound from front output of audiocard.
I've chosed analog 2.0 mode in pulseaudio propeties and sound came from side output.
With 7.1 everything is good, but still no sound in front ouput.
Audiocard: Xonar D1.

Maybe someine udrestand russian better, than my English: http://www.linux.org.ru/forum/multimedia/6827335

Re: [alsa + pulse] Sound from wrong output

I run XFCE. After upgrades which include pulseaudio, I remove /etc/asound.conf and do "sudo pacman -Rdd pulseaudio".

Instead of that brutal removal, you may want to try "sudo pacman -R pulseaudio" first in order to see, which applications are affected by the removal of pulseaudio.

Re: [alsa + pulse] Sound from wrong output

sorry for necrobumping but I'm havong the exact same problem. I just used the side output for years since I only need stereo anyway. but now i have to dual boot with windows again and i dont want to plug my speakers somewhere else anytime I boot another OS.
So any luck getting this to work without rmoving pulse?
