Flash player issues on Firefox.

I have:
firefox-7.0.1-1
flashplugin-11.0.1.152-1

chrome 13.0.782.220-1 (with flash 10.3.183)

Nvidia 8400gs

I uncommented Video Decoding in mms.cfg.

Videos on YT are extremely slow even on LQ but on Chrome everything works fine (even on 720p). I reinstalled flash/firefox couple of times but it didnt help.

When VD is OFF (commented) i can run LQ smoothly but not as fast as on chrome (and not 720p).

How to enable vdpau or speed up flash videos on FF ?

Re: Flash player issues on Firefox.

Actually, since it is just slow, I suspect it is actually related to this:

There seems to be issues with flashplugin (at least for 64bit) and hardware acceleration.

Re: Flash player issues on Firefox.

I have 32bit. I will try to install same plugin version as in Chrome. Maybe this will help.

--Edit:
Yeah. 10.3.183.10 plays 720p smoothly. And it said "accelerated video rendering"

Re: Flash player issues on Firefox.

The problem is not only with firefox, it exists with chromium and opera too.

I think i'm going to downgrade flashplugin until it is fixed. :-/

Re: Flash player issues on Firefox.

Adobe Flash 11 seems fairly fast and stable, I'm using it on Chromium. When I'm bored I have a full screen flash player running Canvas Rider (pretty cool game).
