mpd/ffmpeg problem: "could not find codec parameters"

Hello all, first time posting here... I tried searching the forums and google for help, but couldn't find anything.

I just set up mpd + ncmpcpp. I configured it following the Wiki and, after firing the service and running mpc update, only a few of my mp3s on my music folder are added.

Reading the log file, I see a lot of entries like this one:

Oct 08 21:42 : ffmpeg/mp3: Could not find codec parameters (Audio: mp3, 0 channels, s16)
Oct 08 21:42 : ffmpeg/mp3: Estimating duration from bitrate, this may be inaccurate
Oct 08 21:48 : ffmpeg/mp3: Header missing

I have ffmpeg installed, and the package "codecs" from AUR.

Can anyone help me on this?
