After a lot of tuning, this is finally something I am quite satisfied with.

Thanks for the suggestion. I can read the blues OK and I have yet to find an alternative colour scheme that I like. Most of them are quite washed out and bland-looking. Maybe I am colour-blind, but the default scheme works OK for me! :-)

Not that that's a bad thing, necessarily, I'm just pointing it out.

I can read your blues just fine too, actually... whether I find the default color scheme asthetically pleasing is another matter, but you're the one who has to use it.

Agreed.  I only made the suggestion because whenever I see default terminal color schemes, I immediately think that perhaps the person is new or simply doesn't know that the colors can be changed or that there are better schemes out there.  Like Morpheus in the Matrix, I want to welcome them to the world beyond defaults! cool

I do appreciate the suggestion. It's not so much that I find the defaults aesthetically pleasing, I just haven't found anything that I like better and haven't messed with it much. I'll probably end up "taking the red pill" someday!
