inkscape and open clip art

I've seen demos of selecting open clip art (openclipart.org) from within inkscape, but I can't make it work.

In the inkscape preferences, under Import/Export, I've entered my open clip art username and password. I'm able to log into openclipart.org fine.

Then, in the inkscape file menu, I still do not see any option to import from open clip art.

There's no errors from inkscape or on the command line. So I have no idea what's broken.

I read somewhere that installing gnome-vfs would help, so I've installed that. It's no help.

Any pointers would be appreciated. Thanks.

No guarantees this is, indeed, the fix. You have to install Inkscape from ABS, removing the line, "--without-gnome-vfs \" from the PKGBUILD.
