Hello. I've seen a lot of threads about this, and my crash seems different.
I have version 1.6.18 off of AUR (I also tried 1.6.14). Whenever the GUI connects to the server, the GUI just freezes. For no reason.
I have seen problems with networking issues, but this is not those. Because if I type in the "wrong host", it will display part of the GUI, and work fine. If I then go into preferences and set it to the "right host" (localhost, 127.0.0.1, etc.), then it will append this to the output:
never spawn: 0
slgui: remote looper is at osc.udp://localhost.localdomain:9951/ version=1.6.18 loopcount=1 id=1318576345
And then, hang. The GUI is dead; it won't repaint or interact.
Disabling IPv6 doesn't work, and I presume based on other ways of looking it up that the name "localhost" is resolving (because it is connecting). Further, if I type in "127.0.0.1", the same thing happens.
JACK is running, and other applications seem to work fine.
Any ideas?
