gnome-terminal .Xdefaults

Hi everyone. I recently learned about the .Xdefaults file and I have been playing around with it nicely. I have xterm using it and its great. However I mostly use gnome-terminal and I was wondering how do I have gnome-terminal use the .Xdefaults file? Below is my .Xdefaults file.

I know there aren't any entries for gnome-terminal, but how to I add it? Can I just copy the XTerm code and change XTerm with gnome-terminal? I tried that and it didn't work. It is still using the settings from it preferences menu. Thanks all in advance

Gnome-terminal doesn't use Xresources / Xdefaults to store its settings, therefore if you want Xdefaults' look in gnome-terminal you have to 'tune' it accordingly manually. Look under the valid menu entry to customize your colours and enter the values from your Xdefaults file.
