ISA sound codec can't be installed?

I have a HP Kayak XU 6/300 workstation system with ADi AD1816AJS integrated on board. According all specs it is a ISA-connected codec. ALSA finds nothing and trying to modprobe SND-AD1816A says

FATAL: Error inserting snd_ad1816a (/lib/modules/3.0-ARCH/kernel/sound/isa/ad1816a/snd_1816a.ko.gz): No such device

The codec together with MIDI is at Auto setting in BIOS which should let PnP system to manage it. Any idea?
