When installing, system freezes with output "Waiting for UDev uevents"

Hello, archers,

I created bootable USB from "archlinux-2011.08.19-core-i686.iso" using LiLi USB Creator. It was the only USB creator that worked.

I got to screen where are several options (menu) and huge ArchLinux logo on top of them. I chose first option that should install ArchLinux on my HDD.

I tried for like ten times or more, but all those times I got frozen computer with:

Waiting for UDev uevents

...or:

sysenter_do_call+0x12 0x28

What could be the problem? Computer's hardware, USB stick or something else?

Thanks in an advice. smile

I had same error. I loaded defaults in bios and that solved it.
