How can I have nice looking GTK apps, all my GTK apps stay squared, no mather what theme I choose, only the colors change. I'm running open-box alone (without gnome)
Offline
you probably forgot to install the right theme engine? If you install themes from aur, the engine usually is a dependency, so if you only tried themes from gnome-look or so try the aur.
Offline
Thanks for the answer. Some themes don't bring the engine, but others do. Thanks

Changed my setup slightly whilst upgrading it. Pity due to the crap specs, it has long been relegated to my spare rig. I like the aesthetic, and would like to replicate it in something more to my tastes like pekwm, on a better monitor.
EDIT: can't make it a thumbnail.

@Firepower: Nice! I like that a lot. Theme and panel? Great work. Very unified look.
Offline
Running tint2 with a very hacky config through tintwizard, to get that floating ticker style. Will post the config as soon as possible, along with the theme (highly modified Arkid).

@Firepower: Thanks! Oh... and what "inner theme" (gtk3)? I'm always on the lookout for light toolbar themes. I find that a ton are dark these days.
Offline
Nah. Gtk2 - modded Fundamental Round 2. It is also a very unrefined mod on my part. Will post as soon as I resolve all the problems on my rig from upgrading to 3.0 and GTK3.

GTK theme: Zukitwo by LasseKongo83
OpenBox theme: Zukitwo-OB (don't forget to vote )
Icons: Faenza
Wallpaper: Pure by xhoop
Tint2 config: tintrc
Applications: wicd-gtk, sonata, dropbox, nautilus, terminal, tint2-svn, volume icon, conky.
I would also recommend using feh-gtk to set the wallpaper in Openbox. Then you can run sh ~/.fehbg & in your autostart file.
edit: Use faenza dark to get the white icons in the systemtray. If some applications are missing white icons, then try to search for them in AUR (like wicd)
