Downgrading utorrent - help

I just updated utorrent to the new 3 version, but it looks absolutely awful (the famous black background bug). How can I get back to the last 2.9 version?

I know about downgrading with pacman but the problem is this is an AUR package and is not cached by pacman.

Every package you installed should be in the cache ...

If it's form form regular sources. Anyway, I played around with editing the config file during installation and I got back to 2.9

No - pacman -U does not cache the package.

Neither pacman nor makepkg removes built packages on its own so either you built packages from AUR in /tmp that gets cleaned on reboot or you remove them by hand.
I keep them in ~/apps, you can move them to CacheDir so downgrading is easy.

Edit:
There's also http://aur3.org/ and http://pkgbuild.com/git/aur.git/

Lockheed, please mark the thread as solved.
