Hi,
I tried today a new MSI G41M-P25 (Intel G41 Chipset) motherboard together with a Nvidia GT 210 graphics card .. everything works fine .. only suspend does not work
Suspend itself is entered successfully, but when I try to wake the machine up, it reboot/"rewakes" endlessy, I can hear that from the noise of the dvd burner powering up everytime.
That is a bit strange, because normal pm-utils errors are black screen or not-entering-suspend. But endlessly trying to wake up from suspend - I did not find much about that one in google.
I really hope that is fixable somehow and not this kind of bug which is never gonna be fixed
I tried s2ram, not working (but machine ist not listed in their list).
pm-suspend.log does not show any problems.
I also tried different bios settings, maybe there is some problem, but I did not figure it out.
Please help me!

I also have problems with suspend and hibernate, and noticed it's linked somehow to virtualbox. Suspend and hibernate were not working properly when a virtual machine was started and had the focus. (It seemed to work if the VM was minimized though). Haven't found a solution yet unfortunately ....

There are several reports about this, but I do not have any vm soft (like virtualbox, vmware, etc.) installed on that machine

mhh no, I even tried a live system (Ubuntu), same problem.
But I think I can not debug it ... it only wakes 5 seconds up -> off -> tries to wake 5 seconds up -> off -> ...-> repeating until I power it off (hard).
Maybe a hardware issue? Any ideas how to find out what is going on?
