Hi, today i've issued pacman -Syu and after reboot, my X refuses to start (says it has no device) and also i have no network interfaces, just loopback. Everything worked well before update. Any ideas?

I will try, but i got to write it by hand:
poppler
glib2
poppler-glib
gtk-update-icon-cache
gtk2
epdfview
gtk3
gtksourceview3
gedit
krb5
libarchive
libevent
libltdl
libpulse
libtool
linux
mc
openssh
vim-runtime
vim
inetutils
wicd
zathura
I've got to write it by hand - i wanted to copy log file on USB flash drive - no luck. The drive was not recognized. I think problem is with recognizing hardware.

Should i try to downgrade kernel? after update i have 3.0.7-1, i will go down to 3.0.6-2

I did it. Its working now! So lastest linux 3.0.7-1 is causing problems. Literally nothing related to HW (except HDD) was not working - no acpi, no graphics, no network interfaces. I am not very experienced user, but there must be some problem in loading modules, am i right?

Strange... i've just updated again to latest linux-3.0.7-1 package, and everything works fine. There had to be some problem during updating.

You could have run
lsinitcpio -a /boot/initramfs-linux.img
on the old image to see what modules did it include.
Re-running mkinitcpio probably generated a correct image so it's working now.
