Lock screen going into sleep

Hi all,

I have GNOME 3 and xfce installed on my computer, and I'm trying to lock the screen going into suspend. GNOME 3 does it automatically, but xfce does not, even when I have the option checked in the power settings. I also tried to put a script into /etc/pm/sleep.d that has a command xflock4 named 45lock, but the script is not running when I go into sleep. Also, the script has execute permissions. How can I get the script to run?

Thanks
