AVI audio stutters on my 64bit desktop
I've tested different media players and speakers and any AVI file gives me stuttering audio on my 64bit desktop (core 2 duo, 1GB RAM). mp4 files are fine. I have a 32bit laptop (P4, 512MB RAM) that plays the same files fine. The stutter is once every 30 seconds or so, sometimes sounds like a pop; basically annoying. I wonder what the cause could be?

Just noticed my MP3s are stuttering too...

Rather than bumping this up with a new post here's an update. Not sure if a software update helped, but I completely forgot about this issue; all has been fine since!
