pulseaudio does'nt start

after the kernel3 update i had no sound.

meanwhile i managed with alsa and without pulsadio that i thought to be broken,

but today i foundout it does'nt start and give me the error:

 [ezik@myhost ~]$  pulseaudio --start
N: [pulseaudio] main.c: User-configured server at 90373eece4c40594b9992f2e00000291, refusing to start/autospawn.

and if i try pavucontrol it's "establishing connection to pulseaudio" for ever un surprisingly.

i think i looked at all the forum posts on pulseadio and some in the net with no success.

can someone guide me to the solution direction?
