I am trying to get some files of this type to play in Arch, but Audacious and mplayer dont appear to support them. I have libmodplug installed, along with all the gstreamer plugins. I am sure I am overlooking something fairly basic here to get them to work. I also have the audacious-plugins package installed.
Edit: this is what mplayer reports, it doesnt actually play the track.

Have a look at dumb in community. ![]()
I've just noticed vlc seems to play these files as well.

I have dumb installed as well, saw it earlier in the repos, but mplayer and audacious still spit out the same errors.
Edit: These now work with vlc, but I know that audacious has a MOD plugin, doesnt appear to be installed with the default version.

Try XMP.
It can play many formats of module tracker music.

deadbeef can also play tracker modules if you add its dumb plugin (which is unfortunately not included anymore in the default package.)
For 32 bit it's available here: http://deadbeef.sourceforge.net/plugins.html
For 64 bit you'll have to build it from source (get and unpack source code, cd deadbeef/plugins/dumb && make).
