Hi people!
Since a few yaourt -Syu ago I've been without any sounds at all.
Hardware is hda_intel, the modules are loaded, alsamixer is checked (no mutings anywhere), I see no error messages anywhere, the hard works when using other OSes.
I was waititng for an upgrade to solve this, but now I'm tired of waiting. And I don't know where to look now. Maybe pulseaudio? I did the pulseaudio restart (as recommended in other threads) but to not avail.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanx!
Fabián

With which GUI are you working?

After Gnome 3.2 ceased to work I switched to KDE, and right now I´m working in FVWM-Crystal.

Same hardware, same problem. Downgraded kernel from 3.1 to 3.0.6 and it worked. Hope that works for you

It went dope for me, hope it works for you as well. Have fun

After checking and rechecking, before downgrading, catched MM in alsamixer. THAT WAS the culprit, I'm a moron.
Thanks anyway!!
