Quivi can't view images

Hey guys, just trying to figure out how to run Quivi to get working on my machine. In case you don't know, it's a comic/manga reader I've been using ever since I used Ubuntu. It is outdated, which is also stated in the AUR page, but I haven't had problems with using it in past distros, until now. Anyway, I've followed the steps in Quivi's AUR page and installed it without errors. I can run it fine, but the problem is it can't display any images, which sucks. I ran quivi from the terminal and tried opening the image, and this was the message I got:

AttributeError: 'Pycairo_CAPI' object has no attribute 'Context_FromContext'

Also, I noticed that when I try to open an image using Ctrl+O, images are greyed out, so I can't open them. I've also tried setting the default program to quivi, but no luck there either.

I'm guessing it has something to do with Pycairo, since it looks like that's the only error after skimming through it. I have both python-cairo and python2-cairo installed, so I really don't know what's the problem. Replies are greatly appreciated.

These errors come from wxpython (not python cairo) but I don't know what could be the cause.
