- GCC4 is stable and in the current branch
- udev completely replaces devfs
- reiser4 is in the kernel
- Xorg releases new version
- initscripts are more verbose(wireless)
- lshwd releases a new version

For me, it is about time. I have been using devFs for sooo long. It still surprises me to see people making the switch nowadays.
