I'm getting a ridiculous amount of PAM errors in my /var/log/errors.log file since sudo was updated to 1.8.3-1.
They look like this:
Oct 27 14:36:34 localhost sudo: PAM pam_set_item: NULL pam handle passed
Oct 27 14:36:34 localhost sudo: PAM pam_setcred: NULL pam handle passed
Oct 27 14:36:34 localhost sudo: PAM pam_open_session: NULL pam handle passed
Oct 27 14:36:34 localhost sudo: PAM pam_end: NULL pam handle passed
Anyone else getting these or know a fix? My /var/log/errors.log file went from around 2.5kb to 30mb in a couple of days...doesn't seem like logrotate can keep up with it.
Thanks

Same here (x86_64), suppose it's some bug in sudo.

try getting pam from testing and see if it stops

Give what you have. To someone, it may be better than you dare to think.

The sudo package in testing (1.8.3.p1-1) appears to resolve this for me..

yeah...just upgraded to the sudo in testing (1.8.3.p1-1) as well and that fixed it. Glad something did...I ran out of space in /var yesterday and had to go log-deleting!
