Good afternoon, everyone.
I installed Arch for the first time and, thanks to wiki, this is the first help I ask.
I installed the GUI with the open ATI driver.
The video works fine, but when my laptop's screen turns off, it returns as if the refresh rate was low.
The screen slowly returns to normal after about thirty minutes, but that's enough to make me a headache.
Currently the screen has the following configuration 1600x900@59.9Hz
The first time I had this problem I rebooted the laptop screen and the problem continued.
Has anyone had similar problem?
My laptop:
Sony Vaio - VPCEC4C5E
Core I3
ATI Radeon
I appreciate any help.

I'm trying to install the Catalyst driver.
I get message from many conflicts, but after I get the following error:
: Xorg-server-catalyst-maximize-fix: Requires xf86-input-evdev
:: Ati-dri: requires libgl = 7.11
:: Intel-dri: requires libgl = 7.11
:: Mach64-dri: requires libgl = 7.11
:: Mga-dri: requires libgl = 7.11
:: R128-dri: requires libgl = 7.11
: Savage-dri: requires libgl = 7.11
:: Sis-dri: requires libgl = 7.11
:: TDFX-dri: requires libgl = 7.11
==> ERROR: 'pacman' failed to install dependencies not found.
I could not solve the problem. Even reinstalling libgl and xf86-input-evdev.
