no usb keyboard in Xorg [SOLVED]

This is really strange.

On my laptop I use its keyboard, its touchpad and an external usb mouse with no problem.

Now I'm trying to connect a Logitech USB keyboard. It gets power, it works in shell (CTRL+ALT+F1) but in Xorg it doesn't work at all. I can't even turn "block num" on.

Dmesg says:

[ 5253.292865] usb 5-1: new low speed USB device number 8 using uhci_hcd
[ 5253.484972] input: Logitech Logitech USB Keyboard as /devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:1d.0/usb5/5-1/5-1:1.0/input/input30

[ 5253.521771] input: Logitech Logitech USB Keyboard as /devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:1d.0/usb5/5-1/5-1:1.1/input/input31

I try to install xf86-input-keyboard but still the same.

Can you help me please?

(I have a Archlinux 32 bit up to date)

Thanks.

IIRC you need the old mkinitcpio too.

You either need to downgrade that too or find a fix rather than a workaround.

Re: no usb keyboard in Xorg [SOLVED]

Thank you guys.
I downgrade libatasmart, too, and now I have my keyboard again.

Sorry I missed the existing post. Really.

Thanks again, MJ
