Hey,
lastly I have played a little bit with the PGKBUILD of xbmc.
There I have seen that a lot of features will be compiled / or not if their libraries are installed or not.
For sure this is normal. But if you have those libraries as opt dependendencies, probably you will install them after the compilation.
So as far as I know, there are these options if you are building a package:
1. Think of the optional dependencies and install them before compiling
2. Fully define the configure flags and make needed libraries as dependency
3. Something like PRE_OPT_DEPENDENCIES in the PKGBUILD
Am I wrong or what do you think about this?
