Maybe this should go to the 'Kernel & Hardware' section, but since this is not directly related to any kernel problem, I'll post it here.
So, will we see Linux Kernel 3.0.8 in stable [core], or just straight away kernel 3.1, (which is now in [testing])...?
Asking because kernel 3.0.x is working well for me, so I am not planning to update to 3.1 right away, but rather wait for 3.1.1 or such, if possible (I have yet to decide).
That's why I am asking, if there will be one more 3.0.x maintenance release (3.0.8) - or straightly 3.1.
Thanks,

mainline: 3.1 2011-10-24
stable: 3.0.8 2011-10-25
So my guess is 3.0.8, but if you are afraid from latest stable releases ... maybe you get wrong distribution ?
O' rly ? Ya rly Oo

i think we are skipping 3.0.8 and move directly to 3.1 soonish
Give what you have. To someone, it may be better than you dare to think.

I am just saying that I'll probably not update to 3.1 IMMEDIATELY after its release, (because new kernels tend to have several problems, but most of them are fixed within days...) - I totally love Arch's rolling-release model (that's why I picked it up in the first place - but because I am now working on one important project, I would like to have a stable kernel on my machine for a couple more days, that's all).
So, to answer your question: No, I don't think that I picked up a wrong distribution. :-)
And by the way you did not answerd my question, because I know that WE SHOULD SEE 3.0.8 BEFORE 3.1 (that's logical, isn't it?) - But, I was asking if WE WILL SEE 3.0.8 BEFORE 3.1 - simply because 3.1 is already in [testing] so, maybe we'll skip 3.0.8.
