Asrock ION 3D - Remote

Well I am a bit of a newbie but thought this might be the best section in relation to the issues that I have with the Asrock ION 3D remote.

I have the Asrock ION 3D which I have installed Arch 64 on for my HTPC. I am already running Arch on my combined box and it is going to become my backend. Now the Asrock comes with a built in IR receiver and MCE remote. I have been googling around to see how I can get the IR receiver working in Arch but I haven't been able to find anything.

So I am wondering if anyone knows if I can get the IR receiver working under Arch? Details on their site relates to ubuntu.

I have an Asrock Ion 330 and the remote works out of the box there since the latest few kernels. I thought they were still using the same IR receiver, what have you determined on your system?

Well when I run IRW I get some input from the remote but only on the direction arrrows. In XBMC the direction arrows work but nothing else.

Okay probably a stupid question but how do I start mythbuntu-lirc-generator?

I  went to finish off the remote side of this last night as the lirc page mentions the following:

ASRock ION series (Nuvoton) quickstart

$ ln -s /usr/share/lirc/remotes/lirc_wb677/lircd.conf.wb677 /etc/lirc/lircd.conf
$ /etc/rc.d/lircd restart

but there is no lirc_wb677 folder in the remotes folder. Yet I thought my system is up pretty well up to date. Any ideas how I can get this folder/file onto my system?
