As wrote in the subject, i've problems when trying to scan an image in grayscale or binary format.
The scanned image is just shorter (the long side is smaller), no matter if i load the paper in the adf or flatbet.
If i scan in color mode everything is fine.
I tried other software too:
simplescan and hp-scan acts just like xsane, skanlite in gray mode just saves a blank image (works in color mode),
Scanner model is HP Laserjet Pro M1212NF.
sane 1.0.22
xsane 0.998
hplip 3.11.10
hplip-plugin 3.11.10
Any suggestion, please?

Indeed most curious, colour is longer than black and white...
I haven't looked into it yet but can definitely confirm this behaviour.
