@quasifilmie 11.60+ will have Gtk themeing. here is a build that supports it and also has a work around for the Gtk 2.24.7 issue:

Just installed Opera 11.60.  Working fine here AFAICT.  No problem with Flash content either.  Shutdowns without error.

P.S. You can use Opera link if you want to sync over your bookmarks, speed dials, passwords, etc. from your main install

After the latest gtk2 update (to 2.24.8-1) Opera works fine without operaprefs_default.ini.

Same here. I did not change anything with Opera. The update for gtk2 fixed the issue.
