Hi!
I had to reinstall my Arch with fluxbox and I have a small-yet-iritating problem. google-chrome and libreoffice are changing their fonts a soon as I add some new ones (either using pacman or just refreshing font cache by fc-cache -fv && xset fp rehash).
For example: Since I had many fonts gathered in my home folder, which were automaticly ( I guess) cached by fluxbox after I started using it, I had weird fonts used in my YouTube player (the one that is used to display actual playback time, suggestions, etc.) Now, since I installed ttf-ms-fonts that font has been changed to Arial. The same thing happened to SOME fonts displayed by google-chrome (e.g. google search results show up like that or elements of my iGoogle homepage).
This is weird, because I've got my fonts set to Ubuntu in Google Chrome settings. And changing them there hadn't had any effects.
I've also noticed, that libreoffice is changing it's default font right after I install any new ones. The last one I've added is Steelfish and this is the default one now.
And SLIM has changed it's display font, also to Arial.
Any ideas what might be happening and how can I change it?
