Re: Gnome Pulseaudio

try to add custom launcher with command:

amixer sset Master 100 unmute

you can do it with gnome app or add file unmute.desktop to /etc/xdg/autostart:

[Desktop Entry]
Name=Unmute volume on startup
Exec=amixer sset Master 100 unmute
Terminal=false

My poor English is fault of Google Translator.

Re: Gnome Pulseaudio

@RiHL that is pretty much wrong. pulseaudio saves the state of the volume when logout/restart and it restores after login.

maybe something is wrong in ~/.pulse* try to delete them.

Give what you have. To someone, it may be better than you dare to think.

Re: Gnome Pulseaudio

@wonder: My solution is dirty and unmutes only the Master channel, but i tested it on Ubuntu and it worked wink
Edit 1:
... It depends on the meaning of word "worked"
Edit 2:
Forget my solution , it doesnt solve anything..

Re: Gnome Pulseaudio

Hi all!
I'm Newbie.
I think you should add @alsa to daemon of rc.conf and check login sound in gnome-session-properties on your terminal
