I have found an applet that gives me the function I have always missed from Unity: window controls in the panel when a window is maximized. Now KDE is as good as perfect for me

I use Funtoo so font configuration is a bit different but essentially I'm using the infinality patchset

How do you draw with gbdfed? When I double click a glyph to bring up the glyph editor, it crashes.

Eh, I don't know.  It does some crashy stuff sometimes, but the glyph editor works fine for me.

Here is my "Blind Alien" awesome desktop again which I posted yesterday on the [Awesome] screenshots thread. No major changes in here other than:

* the purple in the active fonts and the icons is more vibrant. It was ok on my desktop with IPS panels but on the subnotebook it was just too washed out.
* rearranged some spaces between widgets
