ATI ou NVidia

I'm considering buying a new desktop, but I'm not very familiar with the performance of ATI and NVidia cards. I'm going to prefer to use xf86-video-ati or xf86-video-nouveau. So do either of these open-source drivers produce particularly better performance than the other on similarly stacked ATI or NVidia cards.

Re: ATI ou NVidia

The ATI open source driver is far better than the nvidia open source driver, see

Greetings,

Edit: When it comes to proprietary drivers it's the other way around wink
