You know, I hate to sound like an echo or something but... what font are you using in that terminal?

That's a font called "smooth". I should have it available here.

I wonder about the X-Chat font, it's very nice.

terminal is smoothansi, it's in extra/artwiz-fonts.

xchat font is here, it's the two TTFs, https://iphitus.no-ip.org/configs/

Any chance you could post a copy of it somewhere? Or email it? Or something? smile

It looks like it would be perfect for my laptop. I tried to find it myself, but no luck.

Sure no worries, here you go.

Re: July 2005 Arch Screenshots

This is not my screenshot.. I just started with Flux and I haven't quite got it customized yet.
But I was wondering if anyone could tell me what that thing on the left side is... the translucent windows?

20041018c7ah.th.jpg

I googled and I think it's FVWM iconbox but I'm not entirely sure... and apparently only FVWM and Enlightment have the feature..

I'm hoping some DE guru here knows fer sure if this is the case :-)

Re: July 2005 Arch Screenshots

Yep, that's fvwmiconbox. I'm no guru, but I know that look, and there's only one WM that does that.

(Well okay, two, but how many people use the new version of E16.8 with the built-in compositor?)

Current fluxbox setup: clicky

Theme and wallpaper from Klowners Wallpapers and I chucked the icons together myself, certainly nothing special about them.

Gnome + Openbox, with Lime OB theme, Clearlooks-Bright GTK theme, and Edge icons. The applications you see are pympc and aterm, the one you don't see is Firefox. The wallpaper is available from swaroop.deviantart.com.

For one year and a half I used Gnome, but always along with metacity. I think with OB could be sweet!, pretty "light feel"

Pssst... Legout... You know Openbox doesn't need a taskbar? Try middle-clicking on the desktop. 8)

It is. I could also swear that some things open faster when I use Openbox instead of Metacity, no idea why that would be... :? But yeah, Openbox goes well with Gnome.

Hah, took you a while to spot it.

Clean installed computer came with windows, and I dont have time to install Arch untill friday. So I figured I'd at least make windows comfortable.

Blackbox, Gaim, Xchat, Firefox, Abiword, gvim, python, putty, glade, pygtk...

I also wanted to install with my Archie hdinstaller, and there are still some issues I have to code out of it, so i figure ill code them now in windows and then install.
