The problem is with the pkg - gnome-shell-extension-user-theme-3.2.1-1.
Go to http://schlunix.org/archlinux/ and download - gnome-shell-extension-user-theme-3.2.0-1.
Restart the X server and login. The extension will work again.

Doesn't work for me. Same issue with 3.2.0-1 as 3.2.1-1.
#edit#
Just noticed I didn't turn on the extension. It now works!

Many thanks! It does work!
BTW, I used the downgrade utility to do it

Fixed with downgrade of gnome-shell-extension-user-theme thanks!

I still can't select any gnome-shell theme, even with a downgraded gnome-shell-extension-user-theme. I've tried to downgrade extensions-common-3.2.0-1 too, but still don't work...

OK, as of this morning, it seems to be working for me... YMMV. Clearly something came through the updated package stream that I didn't notice that resolved this... I've sort of been watching and haven't seen anything that jumped out at me.
Thanks to whoever resolved this!

Tried reverting back like mx_joao, and am getting the same result. Have tried disabling all other extensions, restarting gnome, reinstalling the extension, etc. Any of those who've had luck getting this to work know what you did right and I'm doing wrong?
EDIT: Of course, 15 minutes after my first post I got it working. just needed to completely uninstall all other extensions and reinstall gnome-shell-extensions-common

I've just found that almost all of the gnome-shell-extensions had been removed from the official repository. Only gnome-shell-extension-user-theme left. Is there anybody knowing what happened?

in these cases, you can investigate by checking out the package sources (in the package view, click on view changes)

There's a long running thread on the FedoraForums over the same issue with Gnome shell extensions.
http://forums.fedoraforum.org/showthread.php?t=273871
There is also a popular guide about replacing Gnome Shell with Cinnamon.
http://forums.fedoraforum.org/showthread.php?t=274611
I haven't use Gnome shell extensions to date, and I haven't tried Cinnamon yet to be able to comment directly.

It took me a little bit to figure this out also, but after going to extensions.gnome.org, I have pretty much all of my extensions back and some of them are even better than they were before. It works just like grabbing add-ons for Firefox, pretty nifty even if sometimes a little slow.

extensions.gnome.org doesn't work for me, I mean, no extensions are installed after clicking the switch. Is there any particular reason it works for some people and not for other? Or is there anything I'm missing?

It didn't work at first for me either. I probably rebooted or something and eventually it just started working.

For me it worked almost instantly. (Firefox 9...) Maybe it depends on the used browser? You might also try ALT+F2 and then entering "r" without the quotes...saves you a reboot or logout.
