I want to install awesome3 and it requires pacakage cairo-xcb
I found cairo-xcb here https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=40641
but the source of caire-xcb seems unavailable.
Then I search from google but still unable to get this pacakage.
I appreciate any help or advice. Thanks in advanced.

Give what you have. To someone, it may be better than you dare to think.

I try to download the package from http://cairographics.org/releases/cairo … 0.2.tar.gz which is listed here https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=40641, but this url does not work. Then I try to find cairo-xcb from http://cairographics.org/ but fail.

Get the regular cairo from ABS and add
--enable-xcb
in the .configure section.

Have you already installed cairo-xcb? I fail to install awesome because of lacking this pacakage.

well, don't copy paste the source link.
use makepkg -i after downloading https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/ca/c … xcb.tar.gz
read https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/AU … g_packages

Thanks very much! I'v found this pacakage.
I guess I ought to read the wiki more carefully.
