Error 13 after kernel upgrade

After upgrade to linux 3.1.3-1 today I'm unable to boot. When I select archlinux or archlinux-fallback in grub menu, I always get this error: Error 13: Invalid or unsupported executable file. The only two working options in grub menu are windows xp and memtest86.

Re: Error 13 after kernel upgrade

Thank you, I have booted Archbang LiveCD, chroot-ed my Arch partiton and then reinstall grub and kernel 3.1.3. Now it boots perfectly. Problem solved.

I have recently (2 weeks ago) converted my / partition from ext3 to ext4 and I had to boot the archlinux-fallback image and regenerate the initrd images with mkinitcpio as described in the wiki -> https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Ex … ns_to_ext4. Since then I had no problems with grub or booting till today.
