I made another font based on artwiz-snap called ohsnap. It's only in 7x14 for now and it has a version with status icons too. It's about as small as I can go on my netbook screen. Maybe a bit too small, but it's usable. It might be good for a 12 or 13" screen? I'll try to make some other sizes soon. I like it.
It's in the aur here https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=54124

Nice to see new fonts and it looks like quality work.
Personally I think there is too much space between some of the letters. Especially around the i's.

Thank you. I've been playing with the i's and a couple other things, trying to at least get it to appear better (it will still take the same space), but I haven't come up with anything that I'm happy with. I'll keep working on it.

I added a 7x12. I updated the aur. I don't have a good screenshot because it's way too small on my netbook. On the Tamsyn 7x12 the lower case doesn't extend above the upper case and numbers so I just did the same. I'm guessing it's more noticeable on the 7x12. Otherwise it follows the same layout basically. Maybe I'll try to do a 6x11 and a 8x17. The spacing will be closer on the 6x11.

I finished the 6x11. The spacing is closer on this one. I'll get the 8x17 done soon.

This font looks pretty awesome, good stuff.

A bit too big for my liking, but still, nice job.

Man you rock! Nice looking on dwm bar.
Anyway, layout symbols are the same as tamsyn?
EDIT: Could you create a 13 pixelsize, please?
Thanks! The symbols are in the same position but the smaller sizes don't have all of the ones the larger sizes have. I've been playing around with a 13 but I'm not promising anything on that.

Hi dude, it's me again. After some days with your font, It could be better to have less space around letters (especially 12). I would to see a more condensed font.
I'm not criticizing your work, it's just a little suggestion.
Take care.

^^Hey. I'll try playing around with some other ones or try making one from scratch. I'm kinda learning as I go ^^
Well, I finished the 8x17 too and made a few changes and cleaned up some stuff. It should be good to go now. Overall, I'm happy with the way it turned out. It's simple, but it's kinda cool. Here's an updated screenshot of the 7x14 with the changes I made:

Stlarch,
Beautiful font. I switch between this and a modded terminus (also a version due to you). I prefer this one but the other one has the edge of bold letters, which are nice for bars
Thanks a bunch!

Thank you. I didn't think a bold would really work with this font but I tried it and it looks pretty cool. I'll probably do it but maybe not for the 11? I'll see how it goes.

Would it be a lot of trouble to add the swedish characters Åå, Ää and Öö? They're availeble in the artwiz-latin1-fonts package in aur, but I like this version of snap better. You'd make me very happy if you added those, as this font is about perfect for me apart from that!

^^^Hi. Yes, I was thinking about doing a full ISO8859-1 character set after I get the bold figured out. It might be a little challenging to do it all consistently with the rest of the font but I'll see what I can do. I'll try to get it done soon.^^

Hi. Yeah, the D. I didn't think the original one used in Snap really fit. And I couldn't come up with anything except the funky one you're referring to. I think I found the solution. I didn't think of trying this before but I'm heavily leaning towards this right now. What do you think? Here's a couple screenshots:
edit: I got the 14 bold done too, it's in my configs. And I also cleaned up a few things on the updated 12 and 14. It's looking pretty nice now.

I personally think the D in your screenshot looks better, but it is your font so you do what you consider is best . It is still fantastic and I shall still use it.
Here is a screenshot of my desktop so you can see your hard work in action.

Looks awesome with the bold. I support Scandinavian characters; for me {æ, ø, å}.
gazj,
How did you get multiple colors in your i3bar?

It is conky piped to dzen2 rather than i3bar.
From my i3 config
exec_always --no-startup-id sleep 5 && conky | dzen2 -x 1540 -y 0 -w 1340 -ta r -bg black -fg '#990000' -fn -*-ohs nap-medium-r-normal-*-11-*-*-*-*-*-*-* &

That's looks nice gazj! I finished the 6x11 bold (it's in my configs). It isn't quite as clean as the bigger sizes but I think it turned out pretty well. There were three letters that touched, the T, Y, and I. I changed the bold I (just for the 11), I don't think the T will be an issue usually and there's not much I can do with the Y. But overall it looks good. I'm happy with it. I also just put the D back to the original one for now since it's really the only one that works well with the bold 6x11 and I want to keep it as consistent as possible.
edit: I finished the rest of the characters for the 6x11, 7x12 and 7x14. Let me know what you think or if something doesn't look right. I should have the 8x15 and 8x17 done by tomorrow and I'll update it then.

Major update to 1.7. I finished the bold and full ISO8859-1 character set for all sizes and cleaned up a bunch of stuff. I updated the aur. Have fun!
