ATI radeon and powersave

Hello

I've got a laptop with an ATI mobility radeon (and of course an intel chip that is being disabled thru vga_switcheroo).

After screen blanking, the display flickers... I looked in the wiki and found that powersaving should be configured properly however I have issues doing it:

[brice@TuxBox:~]$ dmesg |grep drm
....
[ 11.816994] [drm] radeon: power management initialized
....

let me think it is ok. However:

[brice@TuxBox:~]$ cat /sys/kernel/debug/dri/1/radeon_pm_info
default engine clock: 157000 kHz
current engine clock: 156990 kHz
default memory clock: 200000 kHz
current memory clock: 199960 kHz
voltage: 900 mV
PCIE lanes: 16
[brice@TuxBox:~]$

no mention of PM_STATE_ENABLED... and the small utility power power-play-switcher tells that I seem to run an unsupported environment and should check kernel version and so on...

KMS is enabled as I run all by default so no idea what the issue is...

regards,
Brice
