Flash / Shockwave Crash

I'm having a problem playing YouTube videos. Unless they are embedded (and sometimes not even then), I get a The Adobe Flash plugin has crashed message. This happens in both google chrome and firefox. Any ideas what I should be doing to fix this?

I'm running ArchBang x86-64, with the latest kernel, on OpenBox, using the nvidia driver.
