i recently setup a bunch of cool stuff and would like to document how. here is a list of what i setup and what to look for in the wiki:
diskless clients
samba/openldap
ipvs
mysql cluster
i'm still working on the ipvs and mysql cluster part, but i could start writing wiki guides for the diskless client and samba/openldap part. is there anyone else with experience in this stuff that would like to help?

Sounds good, I'm currently testing out the mysql cluster w/ memcached integration from the mysql labs - sounds like that would fit right in with your current theme (gives some more nice scalability). I could probably write up a guide for that.

I'm not experienced enough to help you write it, but I can field-test the samba/ldap article in a live environment with many clients and give you feedback. Once it's in the making of course.

Sagron,
Welcome to Arch Linux. I would like to point out that this thread is over six years old. Check our policy regarding ancient threads. If that stuff is not in the wiki yet (I did not look) then the OP is unlikely to follow through.
Generally, I would close this; but I'll make an exception. Old threads cause confusion, but it might be okay in this case. Who knows, you might gain some traction and help the Wiki ![]()

They do tend to cause confusion.
Diskless clients are indeed covered by the wiki: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Di … t_NFS_root
As is samba/openldap.
I didn't see the other stuff though.
