gtkpod only runs as root

I can't get gtkpod to run as a normal user. There are no error messages but a window entitled "anjuta" briefly displays the gtkpod logo and then disappears.

The program opens as root.

I've tried reinstalling both gtkpod and anjuta. I also tried gktpod-git from the AUR but had the same issue.

Downgraded, then reinstalled latest version and the problem disappeared.
