Newbie to Arch - X Font Server

Does anyone know of a daemon for the x-font-server for Arch

Sure:

I'm an old gentoo user - in that distro you can run a font-server with xorg (xfs). The xfs's config file is /etc/X11/fs/config - it loads the fonts before x starts. New to Arch, just wondering why there isn't an obvious xfs deamon.

With xorg, isn't the font server no longer a seperate entity?  I believe font management is built directly into xorg.
