What are you actually typing to install stuff? And this is a bootable system that's been installed on the hard drive (you're not trying to do this off of the cd or anything)?

I think you have to add the links yourself with the K-menu editor.

my system is running on the hard drive connected to the net and i am typing "pacman -Sy mozilla" also when i try and do a system upgrade with "pacman Syu" its aborting with dependency issues, first it was aborting at xfree86 now its doing it at scrollkeeper.
hApy ; i dont know what you mean by add the links. :?:
Oh and i have upgraded pacman as well with "pacman -Sy pacman" to ver.2.7

You're going to have to copy & paste a listing of the output so that I can see what is going on.
if it is saying stuff like
"file already exists in system"
then chances are you should do a
pacman -Sf scrollkeeper
or whatever package is not being installed due to "file conflicts".
also, don't bother using the "y" option in "-Sy" everytime you get a package. you only need to add that to sync your package list once a day. After that just omit the "y" and use
pacman -S <pkgname>
errr... wait a minute wasn't this discussed in another thread? xentac already told you all this stuff... did it not work?
by links I am responding to your question about whether or not mozilla will be added to your KDE menu. It won't. you'll need to do it yourself. (once you have it installing correctly)

About the Xfree problem, check the front page ( http://www.archlinux.org/news.php#33 ) or search the archive (same for scrollkeeper, as happy already said) ;-) Otherwise, I would recommend the 2 following commands :
pacman -Syu
to get your system up to date.
pacman -S mozilla
to install mozilla
