I'm a bit lost now, trying every possible thing to make my laptop properly hibernate or suspend at least.
I've read archwiki and installed every possible thing: pm-utils, acpid, uswsusp. I've modified the needed files so that it could all work. But as soon as I try to hibernate or suspend, like this
dbus-send --system --print-reply --dest="org.freedesktop.UPower" \
/org/freedesktop/UPower org.freedesktop.UPower.Suspend
or
pm-hibernate
or
s2disk
that just do not work for my laptop model, as it seems.
Instead all these manipulations lead me to one result -- the black screen, the laptop just goes to black screen and the only thing I can do from there is hard turn it off with next reboot and recovering lost hdd journal chains all over again.
Logs are silent or I wasn't able to find out anything.

Dec 17 23:03:48 localhost kernel: [ 2131.586332] PM: Preparing system for mem sleep
messages.log

Dec 17 23:03:48 localhost kernel: [ 2131.583712] PM: Syncing filesystems ... done.
I need some info about how to set this thing properly, maybe an advise of what exactly should I use, what tool actually works and how did you configure it.

Have a look in BIOS, if you have some options to try for acpi there as well.
Then next you should look at the loaded modules and try blacklisting in pm-utils ones that may be troublesome (graphics,wireless,ehci..). That way they get unloaded before suspend.
If you post your exact laptop model, kernel and lsmod here, someone might perhaps be able to give you a hint at what worked in another case with a similar laptop.

Why aren't you asking on the Archbang boards?

This is most probably Archbang specific. Just do as jasonwryan recommended. It is a helpful community over there.
Closing.
To know or not to know ...
... the questions remain forever.
