Has anyone had any luck with catalyst 11.12?
I have installed the current versions of the kernel and xorg. Upgraded catalyst to 11.12 from AUR.
When I start X, I get a screen full of random coloured lines and the system completely locks up.
This is on a Radeon HD6950.
I tried running aticonfig --acpi-services=off as suggested on the wiki page, but that had no effect.

My monitor gets killed with 11.12 (HD6950 as well here, running [Testing]). Saw some messages about an IRQ being disabled (over SSH), haven't had the time to investigate yet.

It works OK with any 3.0.x kernel. I guess they don't support 3.1.x kernels yet.
