Running: blackbox + xterm + nano + jumanji (libwebkit) + conky + vlc (iconified) = 250Mb memory footprint. Lean and mean.

Hey, what font packages are you using (freetype2, cairo, libxft), and your local/fonts.conf? Also, what is the font in the terminal?

Thanks!

That is K&R Second Edition right? That's a really good book on C, and I still reread it when I have the time.

Brushing up on some history:

Oh, how times have changed. I can't believe GNOME devs actually credited the knights who say "Ni!" in an official release, or included an "End world hunger" button. Puts Gnome's recent activities in a whole new light.

Also, yes, that's Netscape.

Was going through K&R (an ancient copy from c. 1985) but am working through the GNU C Tutorial and some of the "basic programming challenges" from the Ubuntu forums ATM.

What are you using to view those images? If it is a comic reader, then would you mind telling me the name? I'm using Comix, and I actually have been looking for some alternatives.

Just finished a script so that I don't need two dzen bars (also so the title area can shrink and the info area can expand).
