I have an Intel 525MW Mini-Itx board with a RealTek 8111E NIC,
and somehow Wake On Lan does not work.
I've followed the wiki, ethtool says that the NIC is WOL-enabled.
I'm using the normal kernel driver, WOL is enabled in the BIOS,
I've tried various utilities to wake up the machine (from Linux and from Windows too),
nothing works.
(I've checked the ethernet cable too)
(I've noticed that the status light of the NIC is not working after shutting
down the machine, as far I remember, normally it should light up...)
Ideas?

Hm...
Installing the r8168 package did not solved it.
However, installing r8168-lts works ( with kernel26-lts )
If you need to do it, be sure to blacklist r8169 in /etc/modprobe.d/modprobe.conf
I'm stilll testing all the rest, but WOL seems to work now ![]()
